Hello there Weeblies,
I hope you are all having a great week, its nearly Friday and you are probably looking forward to a couple of days rest and relaxation.
My kookaburra painting flew to Western Australia safely and the owners were very happy with it and is now hanging in their home. So proud of myself when I sell a painting or portrait, it is the best feeling.
I finished another painting a couple of days ago. It is of five lorikeets amongst yellow grevillea. I am pretty happy with it. I will put a pic up when I finish writing here. This one, my other kookaburra and galah paintings will be going into an art competition at the Gosford Regional Show, 4th & 5th May. I am very excited about that!!
I have been doing another sort of painting this week.... my hubby and I have been making our grandson a toy oven, hotplates and cupboard for him to play with, he is 2 1/2. I found a little toaster, plastic egg carton and utensils to put with it. Will put up a pic also when finished writing. I can't wait till he comes over and watch him play pretend cooking. I bet we will be eating lots of pretend food... over and over and over again hehehe. Love it!!!
I went and saw him today and we were playing outside. He was a racing driver running around in laps, as he was slowing down I had to fill him up with petrol, so..... glug, glug, glug... cap back on and he was off and running again!!! This game went on and on and on... so cute!!!
I am sort of itching to do a graphite portrait soon as its been a while so I am going to suss out some stuff on the net and see what I can find. I am thinking of something along the lines of an American Indian drawing. I will keep you posted on that.
Love and Light to everyone of you.
